Hitting & Pitching Leagues
Sandlot provides athletes the ability to compete with top of the line equipment year round. Good players play, great athletes compete consistently. Baseball/Softball athletes of Indianapolis and surrounding communities now have the opportunity to compete consistently and properly like the professionals. With state of the art pitching machines and BlackSound board we are able to put together hitting and pitching leagues that play like a real life game. The Sandlot Baseball Academy is now organizing its "Pitching League" on our new KZONE pitching board - for players of all ages. Teams will be comprised of three players, with each team playing once a week (Mondays and Tuesdays) for six weeks plus playoffs. Each player will throw 45 pitches- 5 per inning. The target is randomly selected for each pitch. The visiting team will pitch their 9 inning game, and will then be followed by the home team. Speed and Accuracy is measured for each pitch. Runs allowed are automatically calculated by KZONE - based on ACCURACY. Pitching distance is based on USSSA rules for their age group. Each player on a team must pitch from the same distance. KZONE Speed and Accuracy Reports for each team and player will be available to track pitchers progress. Sign up now to insure your team a spot. The cost of competing is $180.00 per team, or $60.00 per player. The Sandlot Baseball Academy is now organizing its "Summer Hitting League" for players ages 7 to 16. Teams will be comprised of four players, with each team playing for eight weeks. The hitting range will be marked with targets and points will be awarded to those players hitting baseballs into the designated areas. Games will be eight innings each with a maximum time limit of 60 minutes. Sign up now to insure your team a spot. The cost of competing is $240.00 per team, or $60.00 per player. [Limited space available and arrangements will be made on a first come / first serve basis] The entry fee includes the cost of hitting each week.
